We’re pleased to announce the ongoing application for Gaza Palestine Postgraduate Scholarship 2024, University of Sheffield available to all interested and suitably qualified candidates.
Scholarship Benefits
The 2024 scholarship covers ;
- The cost of tuition
- Accommodation in a single occupant en-suite room in University halls of residence and
- A maintenance award of £5,000.
Eligibility for Gaza Palestine Postgraduate Scholarship
To apply and be considered for the scholarship applicants must:
- Be a citizen of Gaza or having been a citizen of Gaza prior to the escalation of the conflict in October 2023.
- Be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes
- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Sheffield before the application deadline to study a one year, full-time postgraduate taught Master’s course starting in September 2024.
How to Successfully Apply
- In your application provided a clear reason for applying for a postgraduate course at the University of Sheffield.
- Give detailed set backs in your academic progress and how you overcome them.
- State your future ambitions relating them to your choice of postgraduate degree and how you can through the scholarship impact other lives.
Important Notice
- Applications will open before the end of March 2024. The deadline to submit your application is 13:00 (UK time) on 28 May 2024.
- Not all applications are successful because the scholarship is a competitive one decided by senior staff members.
- Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified before the end of June 2024.
- Distance learning and part-time students are not eligible for the scholarship.
- This scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other scholarships, discounts, or benefits from the university or external sources.
- Full terms and conditions will be provided to the recipient after the award is completed.
- Applicants who emigrated from Gaza due to the escalation of conflict in October 2023 can also apply, but must provide proof of residence in Gaza immediately before that period.
