About Said Foundation Scholarship
The Said Foundation offers twenty postgraduate scholarships annually to outstanding individuals from Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan who demonstrate the potential to become leaders and innovators of change.
Scholarships are primarily offered for one-year postgraduate courses but in exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to consider applicants for two-year courses.
Scholarship Benefits
The Foundation provides full funding, including:
- Full tuition fees
- Full maintenance/living costs for the duration of your course
- An arrival allowance
- Athesis allowance
- Visa fees
- IHS fees
- One economy return flight
Eligibility and Requirements
1. Applications are restricted to candidates who are:
- Lebanese
- Jordanian
- Palestinian (including
- Palestinians inside Israel)
- Syrian
2. Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 or higher (or be in the final year of an undergraduate degree)
3. Have applied for an eligible full-time Masters programme at Goldsmiths, University of London
4. Have professional/voluntary experience relevant to your field of study, and a clear career path
5. Have leadership potential

- Submit an online postgraduate academic application directly to Durham University before the deadline.
- Please ensure you indicate your intention to apply for a Said Foundation Scholarship on your academic application form.
Complete a scholarship application - Submit an online scholarship application via the Said Foundation website also before the deadline.
