- Eligibility: available to a UK or international applicant

8. Sasakawa postgraduate studentships in Japanese studies
- Eligibility: Available to students proposing to pursue either MA Film Studies with a focus on Japanese cinema, MA by Research in Japanese Studies or a PhD in Japanese studies, starting October 2024. PhD students in their first and second year of study are also eligible to enrol.
