Swansea University invites applications for the International Excellence Scholarships (Africa) for the 2023/24 academic year.
Swansea University is offering scholarships for International Excellence Scholars to study at the University in 2023. The scholarships are available for students who have achieved high academic results and are able to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities.

Name: Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship (Africa)
Amount: Up to £6,000
Deadline: Applications for September 2023 are now open.
Eligibility & Requirements
- The applicant must not be a citizen of the United Kingdom and must pay fees from abroad. The University will have to cancel the scholarship if the applicant’s fee status changes after the scholarship application has been submitted.
- Students must have applied for and accepted an unconditional offer to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies at Swansea University.
- Students on BSc, BA, BEng, LLB, MEng, MSci, MSc, MPharm, MBBCh, MA, LLM, MRes (not the same as Masters by Research) are eligible.
- Alumni are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have demonstrated excellence in their academic performance to date and be able to show what they will achieve at Swansea University in their application.
Scholarships are awarded as a discount on tuition fees. Full terms and conditions are available on the application form.

- Only one application will be considered. Students from Africa should only apply through the International Excellence Scholarship Form (Africa) 23/24.
- To be considered for a scholarship, you must already hold an offer to study with Swansea University.
- Remember, you need to include transcripts of previous studies, so we can process your application without delays.
